Kannada loan paperwork, automated for a rural co-operative bank
Field officers filled loan applications into old Excel templates in a legacy Kannada font, then printed them page by page. I built software that turns a validated form into the bank's full official loan packet.

The problem
Taluka-level co-operative agricultural banks in Karnataka prepare long Kannada loan packets for every farmer’s application. The templates were Excel files in a legacy font, so every packet meant manual retyping, manual maths and a high chance of a garbled printout.
What I built
A web app where an operator fills one validated form, the app does the bank’s calculations, stores the application and prints the official packet as a PDF. Roles for manager, supervisor and field officer; multi-bank profiles; offline signed licences with a grace period; daily backups, a self-migrating database and automatic rollback.
Status
Pilot-ready and not yet live at a bank. A demo instance runs on fixture data only.
